Biografia
Greek-Canadian soprano Andromahi Raptis has recently been praised as “the shining star of the evening” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) and for her “colourful and capable, shimmering timbre” (Donaukurier). Her “acting abilities and radiant voice” were honoured with a Bavarian Arts Advancement Award in 2021. A current ensemble member at Staatstheater Nürnberg, she takes the stage in the 2023-2024 season in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor, and as Adele in Die Fledermaus, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and a Blumenmädchen in Parsifal. In Nürnberg, her roles to date include Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), Sophie Scholl (Weiße Rose), Maria (West Side Story), Musetta (La Bohème), Isabella (Märchen im Grandhotel), Frasquita (Carm
