Lucerna, SuizaThe Swiss mezzo-soprano studied with Elisabeth Glauser at the Bern University of the Arts, where she graduated in 2003 with the soloist diploma with distinction and the Eduard Tschumi Prize. She completed her opera training at the International Opera Studio in Zurich. As a permanent member of the ensemble at Bühnen Bern, she has interpreted, among others, Carmen, Ortrud (Lohengrin), Venus (Tannhäuser), Brangäne (Tristan and Isolde), Fricka (Walküre), Herodias (Salome), Judith (Duke Bluebeard's Castle) and the sexton (Jenufa). In 2018, Claude Eichenberger returned to the Bern University of the Arts HKB as a lecturer (Department of Jazz and Contemporary Music). From academic year 23/24, she will move to the Classical Music Department within the HKB as a lecturer for the core subject
