Hamburg, GermanyCornelius Lewenberg was born in Stuttgart (Germany) and studied with Prof. Röhlig at the University of Music in Karlsruhe. He worked also with Prof Hartmut Höll and Prof. Mitsuko Shirai for the song repertoire, and with Prof. Julia Varady an Markus Eiche. In 2012 he sang 2. Bursche in „Der Mond“ by Carl Orff and El Cimarron in „El Cimarron“ by Henze. 2013 he sang at the Staatsoper Darmstadt the 5th Voice in „Jakob Lenz“ by Wolfgang Rihm and was Starveling in „A midsummernight's dream“ by Britten in England. In 2014 he appeared also at the Fontane-Festival Neuruppin and at the Rossini-Festival Bad Wildbad, where he sang Antonio in „Il viaggio a Reims“ and Ernesto in „Adelaide di Borgogna“ (with CD-recording) and was Il Conte d'Almaviva at the University of Music in Karlsruhe.
