Biography
Baritone Domen Križaj is a member of the ensemble at the Oper Frankfurt. In the season 2022/2023 he will perfrom as Papageno in Mozart's Zauberflöte, Graf in Strauss's Capriccio, Zar in Weill's Der Zar lässt sich fotografieren, Onegin in Thaikowsky's Eugene Onegin and return as Lescaut in Puccini's Manon Lescaut. Guest appearances include Alfio in Masacagni's Cavalleria Rusticana at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and Rodrigo in Verdi's Don Carlo at the SNG Maribor in Slovenia. Before he joined Oper Frankurt he was an ensemble member at the Theater Basel where he performed as Marcello in La Boheme, Ned Keene in Peter Grimes and Pavel in Nono's Al gran sole carico d'amore.
