Soprano Elisabeth Pratscher was born in Austria and began her vocal studies at the University of Music and performing Arts Vienna and was a student of Julia Bauer-Huppmann. Since 2017 she is continuously advised and trained by Prof. Heidrun Franz-Vetter in Berlin. Additionally, she has attended masterclasses with Edith Lienbacher, Kurt Widmer, Paul Hamburger and Gerd Uecker. Elisabeth Pratscher has been an award winner in renowned competitions, including the famous “Smola Förderpreis 2015” (1. prize, TV-channel SWR), “Nico-Dostal operetta competition”, “Competizione dell’ Opera” (Linz) and “Accademia Belcanto” (Mozart-prize, Graz). She is scholarship holder of the “Hajek-Boss-Wagner Price 2016” (Haydnfestpiele Eisenstadt), the “Yehudi Menuhin-Foundation” and the “Concorso lirico Martinel
