Biography
Multi-award-winning Welsh Tenor Joshua Owen Mills, described by The Times as a ‘tenor with gleaming legato,’ will be performing at Kings Cross Sounds, one of London's most eclectic music festivals, for the start of his 2023/2024 season. Additionally, he has house debuts lined up with Jyväskylän Ooppera, where he is set to portray Nemorino in "L'elisir D'amore," and he will also reprise the role of Yonas in Saariho's "Adriana Mater" at the Savonlinna Opera Festival. With a mission to redefine what being a classical musician means in the twenty-first century, Mills actively promotes an open and engaged social media presence, working towards introducing the opera world to a much wider audience.
