Paola Di Gregorio

Paola Di Gregorio was born in Rome and studied opera singing under the guidance of Anna Vandi. Paola came to the attention of the world of opera at a young age by winning important international competitions such as the "Mario Del Monaco", the “Caruso-De Lucia”, the “Aslico”, the “Città' di Adria" and the "M. Battistini". After winning the "M. Battistini" she made her professional debut in Rome in “Il Trovatore” at the National Theatre. Thus began a successful international career which always sees her in the main protagonist roles such as Violetta in "La Traviata" which she performed in various theaters of northern Europe including the Opera House’s of Gothenburg and Copenhagen. In 2002 she sang the role of Aida at the National Opera Theatre of Seoul and later in the Cairo Opera House.
