Polish baritone born in Cieszyn. Paweł Konik is one of the most promising Polish baritone of his generation. During artistic season 2021/22 Paweł will make his role debuts as Faninal in Strauss’s masterpiece Der Rosenkavalier, Donner in Wagner’s Das Rheingold, and Jupiter in Rameau’s Platée, and will as well revisit Albert in Massenet’s Werther. Concert engagements will include his recital debut at Chopin and his Europe Festival. Paweł will present Raoul Koczalski’s songs which he recently rediscovered. He will also come back to Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra for Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater.
