Sesto Quatrini, born 1984 in Rome, graduated after studying conducting, composition and trumpet at the “A. Casella” Conservatory in L’Aquila and the Civica Scuola di Musica “Claudio Abbado” in Milan. He is currently Artistic Director at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT). From 2015 to 2016 he was assistant conductor to Fabio Luisi at the New York Metropolitan Opera and at the Festival della Valle d’Itria, where in 2017 he made his Italian opera debut with Verdi’s Un giorno di regno.
