Biography
Portuguese tenor Luis Gomes has been seen in recent seasons as a guest artist at various European Opera Houses and concert halls both in Opera and Concert. 2024 started with two concerts at the Auditorio Nacional Madrid, an Opera and Zarzuela Gala Concert and Mozart Mass in Cmin followed by Rodolfo La Boheme at the Auditorio Zaragoza. Most recently he has sung Beethoven 9th for Teatro Nacional Sao Carlos in Portugal, Mozart Requiem at Opera di Roma under the baton of Maestro Omer Meir Wellber and Pinkerton Madama Butterfly in Figueira da Foz and Coliseu Porto both also for TNSC in Lisbon. In 2023 Luis has appeared as Don Jose Carmen at Prague National Theatre, Edgardo Lucia di Lammermoor TNSC Lisbon, Duca Rigoletto and Pinkerton Madama Butterfly Fundacion Excelentia.
