Biography
Attilio Tomasello is Musical Director oft the Mittelsächsisches Theater and Orchestra where he conducts both Opera repertoire (Rigoletto , Die Lustige Weiber von Windsor, Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Symphonic repertoire ( main works of Mahler, Stravinsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms and Mozart among others) . Born in Alessandria, Italy, where he completed his studies chiefly in Piano and Composition at the local Conservatory, he obtained a Master in Orchestra Conducting at the CNSM Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Paris and the the DE (Diplôme d’Etat- Licence degree) in Chorus Conducting at the IESM ( Music Teaching Superior Institute) of AIx-en-Provence (France). He had the privilege to work permanently as a principal conductor at the Opéra de Nice (c
