Brendan Sliger Tenor Born in Maryland, United States, Brendan began his musical studies in his home state at the University of Maryland studying with Gran Wilson before continuing his studies with Dolora Zajick and the Institute of Young Dramatic Voices and further with Luana Devol and the American Wagner Project. His professional career began as an apprentice artist with Sarasota Opera (Florida) and Des Moines Metro Opera (Iowa). After he was engaged by Opera Leipzig in a children’s version of Richard Wagner’s Ring singing the father and son of Siegmund and Siegfried. He returned to the United States to sing Bacchus in Richard Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos in Los Angeles.
