Biography
Johannes Seokhoon Moon comes from Korea and studied at the KyungHee University in Seoul and from 2012 to 2014 in the master’s course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart with Prof. Francisco Araiza. He sang Mephisto ("Faust") and Figaro ("Le nozze di Figaro") in productions at the Stuttgart Opera School. He has won numerous prizes (3rd prize at the Riccardo Zandonai International Singing Competition 2018 in Italy, 3rd prize at the Franz Schubert Competition in Korea, 2nd prize and audience award at the 5th International Lions Singing Competition at the Gut Immling Opera Festival in Germany). From 2014 to 2016 he belonged to the international elite studio of the Lübeck Theater with roles such as Capellio in Bellini's "Romeo and Juliet", Pope in "Lady Macbeth of Mzensk",
