Biography
Tom Morss was born in Edinburgh and grew up in Carlops, a village in the Scottish borders, small in size but large in musical activity. From an early age Tom was immersed in music, taking up violin at the age of 5 and singing at the age of 10. Throughout his school life he was active in music and drama, performing in choirs, as soloist and leader of several orchestras and acting in many plays with local amateur dramatic companies. Tom gained a BMus (Hons) from the University of Leeds where he was a member of a variety of vocal ensembles and a founder member of Operasoc, the University’s first dedicated opera society. He subsequently studied at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), graduating with an MMus in Vocal Performance and a PGDip (Distinction) in 2013. He is now based in Londo
