Mr. Fennell made his debut as Rodolfo in James Robinson’s production of La Bohème with Glimmerglass Opera. He continued his early career singing the next six seasons with the New York City Opera. His roles included Rodolfo in La Bohème, Alfredo in La Traviata, Narraboth in Salomé, and Eurimaco in Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria. In 2009, he made his European debut singing Camille de Rosillion in Die Lustige Witwe with Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Verdi’s Requiem with the Latvian National Symphony.
