Bitter, stingy and grumpy, Scrooge hates everything and everyone. But most of all, he hates Christmas. He can think of nothing worse than joy, generosity and loving fellowship.

One night, he is visited by the spirit of his deceased former business partner and the three Ghosts of Christmas, who take him on a transformative journey through his past. present and future. The events of the night leave Scrooge a changed man, his heart full of love and compassion.

In this revival premiere, Charles Dickens’ classic tale A Christmas Carol is transformed into a musical filled with humour, compassion and the odd spine-chilling ghost. The show combines the Dickensian world of the nineteenth century with a festive carnival, Adolphe Adam’s O Holy Night with Stevie Wonder, and gentle snowfall with flashing disco lights. Musical, opera, pop, rap and classic Christmas carols!
