Particularly attached to the music of Jean-Sébastien Bach, the Rennais Damien Guillon placed it at the heart of the artistic project of his ensemble. He does more than direct it since he is one of the most sought-after countertenors to interpret it. It is therefore a joy to continue this cycle of concerts with Les Concerts de midi.
Presentation
Started three years ago, this cycle of (re)discovery of the Cantatas of JS Bach is devoted this season to three cantatas “from the time of the Trinity” for which the Banquet Céleste returns with its most faithful interpreters. Three very different works, composed for the time of the Trinity in which Bach expresses each time in a different way this exceptional evocative sensitivity which the subjects of the Gospel arouse in whom the subjects of the Gospel.
