The show offers a unique evening for the audience, where they enjoy a three-course dinner organized by Gamla Bío and, along the way, listen to a casual and entertaining performance of the opera Così fan tutte. The opera will be performed in an Icelandic translation for the first time. 
When the audience attends Gamla Bío, they step into a time machine that transports them to Reykjavík at the beginning of the 20th century. The performers are in the roles of Iðnó's place holders, serving at the table and playing around the audience who enjoy food, drink, singing and musical instruments until late in the evening. A light atmosphere prevails over the plot of the work, but although the drama is certainly present, the humor is a red thread in the opera.

The opera Così fan tutte is one of the best-known and most popular operas by the great master Mozart, but it has not been performed in Iceland since 2008 by the Icelandic Opera's opera studio. The opera is about two friends, Guglielmo and Ferrando who make a bet with Don Alfonso who is older and pretends to be wiser. Don Alfonso believes that all women are unfaithful, or all women alike (as the title, Cosi fan tutte, suggests). They decide to disguise themselves and prove to Don Alfonso that their girlfriends Fiordiligi and Dorabella are indeed faithful no matter what. This results in a fun and funny scenario that ends in disaster.

Sýningin býður upp á einstaka kvöldstund fyrir áheyrendur þar sem þau snæða þriggja rétta kvöldverð á vegum Gamla bíó og hlýða í leiðinni á frjálslegan og skemmtilegan flutning á óperunni Così fan tutte. Óperan verður flutt í íslenskri þýðingu í fyrsta sinn.
Þegar áheyrendur mæta í Gamla bíó stíga þau inn í tímavél sem flytja þau til Reykjavíkur í byrjun 20. aldar. Flytjendur eru í hlutverkum staðarhaldara Iðnó, þjóna til borðs og leika í kringum áheyrendur sem njóta matar, drykkjar, söngs og hljóðfæraleiks fram eftir kvöldi. Létt andrúmsloft ríkir yfir söguþræði verksins en þótt dramtíkin sé vissulega til staðar þá er húmorinn rauður þráður í óperunni.

Óperan Così fan tutte er ein þekktasta og vinsælasta ópera hins mikla meistara Mozarts en hefur ekki verið flutt á Íslandi síðan 2008 af óperustúdíó Íslensku óperunnar. Óperan fjallar um tvo vini, Guglielmo og Ferrando sem fara í veðmál við Don Alfonso sem er eldri og þykist vitrari. Don Alfonso telur að allar konur séu ótrúar, eða allar konur eins (líkt og tiltillinn, Cosi fan tutte, gefur til kynna). Þeir ákveða að dulbúa sig og sanna það fyrir Don Alfonso að þeirra kærustur Fiordiligi og Dorabella séu vissulega trúar sama hvað. Þetta hefur í för með sér skemmtilega og fyndna atburðarás sem endar með ósköpum.
