Surely everyone knows the famous motif that opens the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's Fifth Symphony! But do we really know who this Mr. van Beethoven was? This programme originally was planned to celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020, but Covid-19 threw a spanner in the works. However, This genius’s music is always relevant, even when there is no anniversary to mark! And so our school and family concerts will once again take our listeners young and old on a musical tour of discovery – join us and Juri Tetzlaff for a truly "fateful" concert experience!

Wer kennt sie nicht, diese berühmte Melodie am Anfang des ersten Satzes von Ludwig van Beethovens fünfter Symphonie? Doch wer war dieser Herr van Beethoven eigentlich? Bereits im Jubiläumsjahr wollten wir uns zu seinem 250. Geburtstag diesem Programm widmen, nur machte uns Corona einen Strich durch die Rechnung. Aber die Musik dieses Genies ist auch außerhalb von Jahrestagen immer aktuell. So nehmen wir Jung und Alt in unseren Schul- und Familienkonzerten wieder mit auf eine musikalische Entdeckungstour und laden gemeinsam mit Juri Tetzlaff ein zu einem wahrlich »schicksalhaften« Konzerterlebnis.
