Créé au Teatro Argentina de Rome le 20 février 1816 Cet opéra est capté par France Musique. il sera diffusé le 17 octobre à 19 heures.

France Musique diffusera les coulisses du spectacle dans l'émission de Stéphane grand, "L'Air des lieux" le dimanche 7 octobre de 16h à 18h.

25 ans après Mozart et ses Nozze di Figaro, Rossini s’inspire de la comédie de Beaumarchais mettant en scène le vaillant Figaro pour composer un chef-d’œuvre de l’opéra bouffe italien auquel il insuffle un rythme effréné. Sérénades, duos, ensembles inondent cette partition inventive de vocalises et de portraits acides et hauts en couleurs. Rossini avait 24 ans... Après le succès de L’Italienne à Alger en janvier 2011, Paolo Olmi et Joan Font se retrouvent pour donner vie à cette nouvelle production.

25 years after Mozart and his Nozze di Figaro , Rossini drew inspiration from Beaumarchais' comedy featuring the valiant Figaro to compose a masterpiece of Italian comic opera to which he breathed a frantic pace. Serenades, duets, ensembles flood this inventive score with vocalizations and acid and colorful portraits. Rossini was 24... After the success of L'Italienne in Algiers in January 2011, Paolo Olmi and Joan Font got together to give life to this new production.
