Για κάθε λάτρη της μουσικής του Μπαχ, αλλά και της μουσικής γενικότερα, τα Κατά Ματθαίον Πάθη είναι έργο «ιερό», κορυφαία έκφραση της πορείας του ανθρώπου προς το θείο, κατάθεση ψυχής και πνεύματος στην πιο αγνή, ειλικρινή και βαθιά τους διάσταση. Αυτή τη φορά τα Κατά Ματθαίον Πάθη παρουσιάζονται σε ημισκηνοθετημένη εκδοχή, με το στοιχείο της κίνησης να προσθέτει μία ακόμη διάσταση στην πρόσληψη του έργου, καθιστώντας τα ανυπέρβλητα μουσικά του νοήματα πιο απτά, πιο δραματικά, ίσως και πιο επίκαιρα.

For every lover of Bach’s music, and of music in general, the St. Matthew Passion is a “sacred” work, a supreme expression of man’s journey towards the divine, a testimony of soul and spirit in their purest, most sincere and deepest dimension. This time the St. Matthew Passion is presented in a semi-staged version, with the element of movement adding another dimension to the perception of the work, making its sublime musical meanings more tangible, more dramatic, and perhaps even more relevant.
