Most people just exist.” (Oscar Wilde) Celebrating, working, arguing together and not letting the challenges of poverty get you down together - this spirit keeps the writer Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline together. In the cold of the big city, they look for love and Rodolfo finds Mimì, who is terminally ill. Art and love are the doors to a world shaped not by the struggle for survival but by fantasy. What does a society look like in which consumption rules and love can be bought? Where do we get the strength to escape loneliness? In her production, the Israeli director Noa Naamat makes it possible to experience the fundamental importance of art, imagination and love in our society and our lives.
