The centrepiece of the choir’s 50th anniversary with special guest, twice Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman and the world premiere of the anniversary commission from Cecilia McDowall. This unique performance brings together the very best of 50 years of concert repertoire from across the styles and centuries, featuring Tomás Luis de Victoria, Giovanni Gabrieli, Antonio Lotti, Thomas Tallis, Richard Allain, Eriks Esenvalds, Eric Whitacre, Jocelyn Hagen, Michael Tippett, Jessica Curry, Tara Mack and many more. Beth Nielsen Chapman will be performing two of her own songs, arranged for the choir by David Drummond, the choir's former musical director, which formed part of a seminal service for peace at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London in 2006.

There is also the opportunity to stay on for a post-concert reception to be held in the main hall to meet the performers and help celebrate this special occasion. Just pick the Concert and Reception ticketing band when you book.
