 «Тоска» — одна из кульминаций в истории оперного искусства, сочинение редкой красоты и эмоциональной силы. Джакомо Пуччини нашел сюжет в пьесе, которую драматург Викторьер Сарду написал специально для Сары Бернар. События развиваются стремительно, действие подобно отпущенной пружине. Флория Тоска — известная певица, красивая и страстная женщина. Она легко поддается чувствам, будь то любовь, ревность или гнев. Попав в эпицентр политических интриг, Тоска становится жертвой манипуляций коварного Скарпиа и невольно губит своего возлюбленного — художника Марио Каварадосси. 

События оперы «Тоска» на астраханской сцене режиссёр Константин Балакин перенёс в середину 20-го века, когда царила жесткая цензура, тотальная слежка, вседозволенность и произвол власти - тогда нещадно ломались судьбы, гибли люди, уничтожались культурные ценности.

«Тоска» - опера, в которой не только ведущие солисты, но и артисты хора имеют возможность показать блестящее вокальное исполнение, а также продемонстрировать высокое актерское мастерство. Для этого у каждого артиста хора своя роль, свой характер, неповторимый образ и сценический костюм

The main characters of the famous opera “Tosca” by G. Puccini will appear before the audience on May 3

 “ Tosca ” is one of the culminations in the history of opera, a work of rare beauty and emotional power. Giacomo Puccini found the plot in a play that playwright Victorier Sardou wrote specifically for Sarah Bernhardt. Events are developing rapidly, the action is like a released spring. Floria Tosca is a famous singer, a beautiful and passionate woman. She easily gives in to feelings, be it love, jealousy or anger. Finding herself at the epicenter of political intrigue, Tosca becomes a victim of the manipulations of the insidious Scarpia and unwittingly destroys her lover, the artist Mario Cavaradossi. 

Director Konstantin Balakin moved the events of the opera “Tosca” on the Astrakhan stage to the mid-20th century, when strict censorship, total surveillance, permissiveness and arbitrariness of power reigned - then destinies were mercilessly broken, people died, cultural values ​​were destroyed.

“Tosca” is an opera in which not only the leading soloists, but also the choir artists have the opportunity to show brilliant vocal performance, as well as demonstrate high acting skills. To achieve this, each choir artist has his own role, his own character, unique image and stage costume.
