Yasmin śpiewa o miłości w języku hiszpańskich Żydów ladino, a do NOSPR powraca w wyjątkowym projekcie z argentyńskim tango. Album Yasmin inspirowany argentyńskim tango, z wpływami muzyki perskiej, tureckiej i flamenco był szóstym albumem w jej dyskografii i przyniósł jej sukces oraz sławę na całym świecie.

Artystce na scenie będzie towarzyszył jej gitarzysta, a splendoru doda Narodowa Orkiestra Polskiego Radia, która repertuar z płyty „Tango” zagra pod dyrekcją Adama Sztaby – uznanego dyrygenta.

Adam Sztaba to polski muzyk, kompozytor, pianista, producent muzyczny i dyrygent. Rozpoznawalność przyniosła mu współpraca z wieloma gwiazdami polskiej estrady, a także tworzenie muzyki do polskich produkcji filmowych i gościnny udział w programach telewizyjnych. Jest absolwentem Akademii Muzycznej im. F. Chopina w Warszawie w klasie kompozycji prof. Zbigniewa Rudzińskiego.

Tymczasem Yasmin Levy od najmłodszych lat miała kontakt z kulturą i śpiewem ladino, ponieważ jej ojciec (Yitzhak Levy) był bardzo ważną osobistością w kręgu ludzi prowadzących badania i zajmujących się ochroną kultury żydowsko-hiszpańskiej, której tradycja ma źródła w XV-wiecznej Hiszpanii. Do dziś ladino pozostaje jedną z najbardziej przejmujących i romantycznych muzycznych tradycji.

W swoim głębokim i przejmującym stylu śpiewania Yasmin jednocześnie zachowuje i wskrzesza na nowo najpiękniejsze utwory dziedzictwa żydowsko-hiszpańskiego ladino, łącząc je z andaluzyjskim flamenco.

Na jej debiutanckim albumie Romance & Yasmin, który wywołał wielkie poruszenie wśród miłośników muzyki na całym świecie, dominują kompozycje ladino. Kolejna płyta, La Juderia, przyniosła unikalne połączenie ladino i flamenco, przyczyniając się równocześnie do ukształtowania charakterystycznego stylu artystki, w którym żydowska duchowość i hiszpańskie emocje znalazły idealne połączenie.

Od początku kariery Yasmin Levy z wielkimi sukcesami koncertuje na całym świecie. W 2004 r. wystąpiła podczas wielu międzynarodowych festiwali i licznych wydarzeń kulturalnych, m.in. WOMAD w Singapurze, Forum Barcelona czy Koncertu Noworocznego BBC w Londynie. W 2005 r. zagrała trasy koncertowe w Europie i Stanach Zjednoczonych, występując m.in. na londyńskim Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club oraz festiwalu WOMAD w Wielkiej Brytanii i Hiszpanii. W listopadzie 2005 r. wzięła udział w najważniejszym muzycznym programie telewizyjnym w Wielkiej Brytanii – Later... with Jools Holland, a w grudniu zakończyła rok koncertem w Carnegie Hall w Nowym Jorku.

Następne lata przyniosły szereg przedsięwzięć artystycznych, m.in. w Wielkiej Brytanii, Kanadzie, Meksyku, Francji, Włoszech, Niemczech, Hiszpanii, Portugalii, Szwecji, Norwegii, Danii, Belgii, Litwie. Jej album Mano Suave (2007) był dystrybuowany na całym świecie przez wytwórnię Harmonia Mundi. Nagrania z tej płyty trafiły do wielu międzynarodowych rozgłośni radiowych, przyczyniając się do znacznego wzrostu popularności wokalistki i ugruntowania jej pozycji wśród najciekawszych osobowości na scenie World Music.

W 2009 r. ukazał się album Sentir, wyprodukowany przez Javiera Limóna, który współpracował z takimi wykonawcami, jak Paco de Lucía, Mariza czy Concha Buika.

Yasmin Levy jako jedna z nielicznych artystek jest od trzech lat corocznie wyróżniana w plebiscycie BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music. Magię oddziaływania i skalę talentu artystki odzwierciedla porównanie jej do najwybitniejszych pieśniarek world music.

Yasmin Levy is a deep female vocal surrounded by Sephardic music inspired by flamenco. Yasmin sings about love in the language of Spanish Ladino Jews, and returns to NOSPR in a unique project with Argentinian tango. Yasmin's album inspired by Argentinian tango, with influences of Persian, Turkish and flamenco music was the sixth album in her discography and brought her success and fame around the world.

The artist on stage will be accompanied by her guitarist, and splendor will be added by the Polish National Radio Orchestra, which will play the repertoire from the album "Tango" under the direction of Adam Sztaba - a recognized conductor.

Adam Sztaba is a Polish musician, composer, pianist, music producer and conductor. He gained recognition thanks to his cooperation with many stars of the Polish stage, as well as creating music for Polish film productions and guest appearance in television programs. He is a graduate of the Academy of Music. F. Chopin in Warsaw in the composition class of prof. Zbigniew Rudziński.

Meanwhile, Yasmin Levy had contact with Ladino culture and singing from an early age, because her father (Yitzhak Levy) was a very important person in the circle of people conducting research and protecting the Jewish-Spanish culture, the tradition of which has its roots in 15th-century Spain. To this day, Ladino remains one of the most poignant and romantic musical traditions.

In her deep and poignant singing style, Yasmin simultaneously preserves and revives the most beautiful songs of the Jewish-Spanish Ladino heritage, combining them with Andalusian flamenco.

Ladino compositions dominate on her debut album Romance & Yasmin , which caused a great stir among music lovers around the world. The next album,  La Juderia , brought a unique combination of ladino and flamenco, while contributing to the formation of the artist's characteristic style, in which Jewish spirituality and Spanish emotions found a perfect combination.

Since the beginning of her career, Yasmin Levy has been giving concerts all over the world with great success. In 2004, she performed at many international festivals and numerous cultural events, including WOMAD in Singapore, Forum Barcelona or the BBC New Year's Concert in London. In 2005, she played concert tours in Europe and the United States, performing, among others, in at London's Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and the WOMAD festival in the UK and Spain. In November 2005, she took part in Britain's most important music television show,  Later... with Jools Holland , and ended the year in December with a concert at New York's Carnegie Hall.

The following years brought a number of artistic undertakings, e.g. in Great Britain, Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Lithuania. Her album Mano Suave  (2007) was distributed worldwide by the label Harmonia Mundi. Recordings from this album went to many international radio stations, contributing to a significant increase in the singer's popularity and consolidating her position among the most interesting personalities on the World Music scene.

In 2009, the album Sentir was released , produced by Javier Limón, who has collaborated with artists such as Paco de Lucía, Mariza and Concha Buika.

Yasmin Levy, as one of the few artists, has been honored every year for three years in the BBC Radio 3 Awards for World Music plebiscite. The magic of the impact and the scale of the artist's talent are reflected in the comparison of her to the greatest singers of world music.
