François Lis

French bass François Lis studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and in 2004 he was nominated for the Révélation Artiste Lyrique of the year. Performances include the role of Don Fernando in Beethoven’s Fidelio with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Zuniga in Carmen at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, Clemens VII in Berlioz’s Benvenuto Cellini at the Opéra national du Rhin, Strasbourg with Michel Plasson and Friar Laurence in Berlioz’s Roméo et Juliette at the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw.
