She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Penelope Mackay and later Yvonne Kenny. Nazan is a former Making Music AYCA Winner, Concordia Foundation Artist, a Britten Pears Young Artist and a recipient of an International Opera Awards Bursary.
