Currently an ensemble member at the State Theater of Nuremberg, Ms. Bassenz enjoys an international career as well, having performed in concerts and operas in North Korea, Moscow, Cypress, Lebanon, Turkey, Austria and the United States. Awards include the Gelsenkirchener Theaterpreis, Hildegard Pabelick-Jentsch Preis for Armenian church music and the Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna.
