Biography
Born in Bologna, he studied singing under the guidance of Mo Paride Venturi: he later graduated from DAMS in Bologna with a thesis on him and his teaching technique. In June 1993 he won the 14th "Mattia Battistini" competition in Rieti for the role of Ferrando (Trovatore) with which he made his debut in November of the same year. Subsequently he interpreted Don Basilio (Barber of Seville) in the United Arab Emirates and in France, Angelotti (Tosca), Sparafucile and Monterone (Rigoletto), Zio Bonzo (Butterfly) in Rieti, in France and Spain directed by Mo. Maurizio Rinaldi. Subsequently he was winner and finalist in other national and international competitions: As.li.co (MI), A.Belli (Spoleto), Angelica Catalani (Ostra, AN), Spontini (Maiolati, AN), Mario del Monaco (Marsala, TP ).
