Sebastián Ferrada was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He began to study singing in Chile, while completing his studies in Economy at the Universidad Católica. In 2008 he settled in Milan, where he studied with Vincenzo Manno at the Accademia Internazionale della Musica and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. In 2010, he began his solo career with the title role in Puccini’s Edgar, at the Auditorium of Valladolid (Spain). He also sang the roles of Manrico (Il trovatore) and Radames (Aida). In that same year, he sang Don José (Carmen) and Verdi’s Requiem in London. He wins the 9th International Competition “Aida” of the Fondazione Arena di Verona and sings with this company Radames at Teatro Filarmonico di Verona.
