Papageno as a dropout: Why the Schwerin version of "Magic Flute" is not convincing

A good choice in these heated times to put this opera on the repertoire, which stands for humanity, reconciliation, steadfastness and free thinking like no other. Stage designer Sarah-Katharina Karl creates a stage design between romance and minimalism with lengths of fabric and light. Marius Pallesen sang the role of Tamino with a powerful tenor. Morgane Heyse shone as Queen of the Night. Pamina was sung by the soprano Cornelia Zink, oscillating in nuances between love and pain."
