Mexican tenor Andrés Moreno García has made appearances around the world in countries including Mexico, United States, Italy and Israel. In the 2016/17 season, Mr. Moreno García opened with his role debut as Ferrando in Così fan tutte with Yale Opera. He made his debut with the Glimmerglass Festival singing the role of Edmondo in Donizetti’s L’assedio di Calais and Slim in Oklahoma!. On the concert stage, he appeared as a soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with Waterbury Symphony Orchestra and Stravinsky’s Renard with Orchestra New England. In the 2015/16 season, Andrés made his debut as Alfredo in La traviata with IVAI in Israel, Rodriguez in Massenet’s Don Quichotte and Flute in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, both with Yale Opera.
