Biography
American mezzo-soprano Annie Reilly is the recipient of a UK Exceptional Talent Visa for her outstanding promise as an emerging young artist. She trained as a member of the prestigious Royal Academy Opera programme at the Royal Academy of Music in London, studying with Brenda Hurley and Jonathan Papp. Following graduation in 2021, she became an Alvarez Young Artist with Garsington Opera, and a Visiting Artist at Scottish Opera where she sang Zerlina in the Sir Thomas Allen production of Don Giovanni (stepping in for two performances and singing the full tour of Access Shows), and Hippolyta (cover Hermia) in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She was a principal artist with Waterperry Opera Festival 2022 where she sang Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro. Full roles include Dorabella (Così fan tutte)
