Bio: German Soprano Bernadette Müller was born in Prien am Chiemsee in Germany and grew up in a family of musicians. Her first instruments were the violin and the piano. She studied with Fenna Kuegel-Seifried in Nuremberg and with Sonia Turchetta at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan from which she graduated with distinction.She made her operatic debut in the role of Madame Gobineau in G. Menottis Opera „The Medium“ at the Festival Piccola Spoleto in 2011. In 2013 she sang the Principessa in „La Bella dormente nel Bosco“ in Milan under the baton of Marco Pace and the direction of Sonia Grandis.In June 2014 she appeared as Mimi in „La Bohème“ at the Festival Oper in Piazza in Como and in the same year she gave her debut as Donna Anna in Luxembourg directed by Laura Cosso and conducted by Tommaso Turchetta.In October 2014 she sang the role of Liú in a concert-performance in Milan.In May 2015 she made her debut at the Teatro Regio Torino in the roles of Sandman and Dewman in „Hänsel und Gretel“, under the baton of Pinchas Steinberg and staged by Vittorio Borrelli in July 2015 she continued with her debuts as Contessa in „Le Nozze di Figaro“ at the Ticino Musica Festival in Lugano. In June 2017 the soprano will return to the Teatro Regio Torino as Papagena in "Il Flauto magico raccontato ai ragazzi" an later in July she will sing the role of Fiordiligi in Mozarts "Cosi fan tutte". She has worked with conductors including Pinchas Steinberg, Christian Simonis, Christoph Adt, Francesco Attardi Umberto Finazzi and Marco Pace. In concert she has performed orchestral works such as Ravel's Shéhérazade and Trois Poèmes de Mallarmé, Strauss' Vier letzte Lieder, Haydn's Creation, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Mass in B Minor and Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate, she sang in recitals and concerts in Germany, Italy, Austria, France and Japan. Her Lieder repertoire includes many works of Mahler, Wolf, Schumann, Ravel, Debussy, Duparc, Schubert, Berg, Korngold and Strauss.  Bernadette was a finalist of many international singing competitions and was a winner of the international singing competition Maria Malibran Milan (3. Prize), the international competition for Lied Guido Papini Camaiore (3 Prize) and the international singing competition Nei Stemmen Luxembourg (2. Prize, Public Prize).
