Brigitte Heuser, Mezzo-Soprano Brigitte is a mezzo-soprano from Wellington New Zealand. She completed a Masters of Arts in 2012 at the Wales International Academy of Voice under the directorship of Dennis O&rsquoNeill. Brigitte now lives and works as a freelance singer in London, United Kingdom. Brigitte began her singing career in New Zealand where she holds a Bachelor of Music (honours 1st class) from the New Zealand School of Music. Brigitte was named the New Zealand Young Performer of the Year in 2007. Brigitte then moved to Australia where she trained at the Australian Opera Studio until 2009 when she returned to New Zealand to take up a contract with the New Zealand Opera Company as an Emerging Artist. In 2010 the New Zealand Opera Guild named her the New Zealand Opera Circle 1
