Innsbruck, AutricheThe young German mezzo-soprano Camilla Lehmeier received her first music lessons as a child and was a member of the Munich Philharmonic Choir under the direction of Zubin Metha. She completed her singing studies at the Hanover University of Music with Carol Richardson-Smith and also attended master classes with Jacques Schwarz and Christina Baader. In 2011 she received scholarships from both the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and the Edelhof-Ricklingen Foundation. Camilla Lehmeier gained her first stage experience in university productions in Hanover. She made her debut at the Schlosstheater Rheinsberg with Martesia in Argenore. She was also heard at the Braunschweig Classix Festival as a bridesmaid in Weber's Freischütz. Guest engagements have taken her to the theaters in Magdeburg and Br
