Bio: Born in Navàs (Barcelona), he was trained at the Municipal Music School of his village with Maestro Josep Maria Castella and later joined the Polifònica de Puig-reig and the Sabadell Opera Choir. He began his singing studies with Maestro Jorge Sirena. He has been awarded at many international singing contests: Tenor Viñas Competition 2017, Alfredo Kraus International Singing Competition 2017, Francisco Araiza Competition in Mexico 2017; also at some local contests as Les Corts 2016 Competition in Barcelona, at Germans Pla de Balaguer (2016) and at the Mirna Lacambra Competition (2015 and 2016). He has also been acclaimed by the critics and specialized media; fact that made him go through the Young Artist of the year 2018 by the specialized newspaper OperaActual. In 2018, he took part in the prestigious Accademia Rossiniana, Alberto Zedda (Pesaro), internationally acclaimed school for singers specialized in the music of the local composer G. Rossini. His repertoire includes the main baritones of the Da Ponte trilogy as Conte Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), main role in Don Giovanni, Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Some other roles as Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) and a special predilection for the G. Rossini operas, either for his venetian farces as Batone (L’inganno felice), Blansac and Germano (La scala di seta), Slook (La cambiale di matrimonio), or also for other most performed titles as Dandini (La Cenerentola), Lord Sidney and Antonio (Il Viaggio a Reims), which made his operatic debut on stage at the Gran Teatre del Liceu on 2017. He also took part in symphonic concerts as Carmina Burana, Mozart’s Requiem and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony; and taking advantage of his versatility, he took part in performances for new opera audiences like Simfonova: “La rebotiga de l’òpera” (The back shop of the opera), “Òpera, de què vas?” (Opera, what are you all about?) and “L’Òpera és medicina” (Opera is a medicine) or the show “Papà Mozart”, sharing stage with two renown actors like Joan Pera and Roger Pera. Within his next engagements we can find his debut as Papageno in Oviedo Opera House and his incorporation as a member of the OperaStudio at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, being part of 8 different productions of the 2021-2022 season; we can especially highlight his participation as Hans Lomeier in the opera Die arabische Nacht, a title premiered in 2008 in Essen.
