Chris McCracken

Principal Guest Conductor at State Opera Stara Zagora, Chris has conducted: Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Staatskapelle Weimar, Hagen Philharmonic, Jena Philharmonic, Theatre Cottbus opera orchestra, Scottish Opera orchestra, London Sinfonietta, State Hermitage Orchestra St Petersburg, Rousse Philharmonic, Pazhardjik Philharmonic (Bulgaria), State Opera Burgas orchestra and Cuenca Symphony Orchestra (Ecuador). He has conducted and coached some 40 operas and operettas and worked as a répétiteur at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden. In July 2017 he won first prize in the 7th edition of the Blue Danube International Opera Conducting Competition in Rousse, Bulgaria.
