Biography
Clifford Lewis, a young and talented Swedish-Welsh tenor born 1994, graduated summer of 2021 with a bachelors degree from Stockholm University. Clifford joined The Royal Opera in Stockholm this season for Josef in Löftet and Harry in La Fanciulla del West. In summer 2022 he performed Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte at Vattnäs Concert Barn and sang Rodolpho in La Bohéme in Dala Floda Opera. Clifford made his professional debut autumn 2017 in the role of Beppe/Arlecchino (Pagliacci) in a production at Estrad Norr (stage director Märit Bärgvall). In SKHs Graduation production 2021 Clifford sang the role of Rodolfo in G.Puccinis La Boheme (stage director Stina Ancker and conductor Eric Solén).
