Bio: Born in Mallorca, where she studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music and Dance of the Balearic Islands. Later he went to Madrid to continue at the Reina Sofía School of Music in the Department of the "Alfredo Kraus" Chair of Singing.
In her work as a soloist she has sung in numerous recitals, operas, zarzuelas and symphonic-choral concerts in the Balearic Islands and the Spanish peninsula, and some abroad. Among its wide symphonic repertoire is Beethoven's "Choral Fantasy", Rossini's "Petite Messe Solennelle", "Two Poems by Balmont and Three Japanese Songs" by Stravinsky, "Stabat Mater" by Pergolesi and the "Parafrasi del Christus" by Donizetti, "Ode to Queen Anne's Birthday" and "Te Deum de Dettingen" both by Händel, "Requiem" by Rutter, "The Armend Man: a Mass for Peace" by Jenkins, and "Requiem" and "Coronation Mass ”, Both by Mozart.
He has sung with the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra, Madrid Symphony Orchestra and Muzík Ensemble, Freixenet Orchestra, City of Elche Symphony Orchestra, and on stages such as the Main Theater of Palma de Mallorca, Royal Theater of Madrid, Auditorium of Mallorca, Auditorium of Alicante, National Auditorium of Madrid, Palace of Festivals of Santander, under the batons of José María Moreno, Philippe Bender, Fernando Marina, Zsolt Nagy, Mihnea Ignat, Martín Fiesher- Dieskau, José Miguel Pérez- Sierra, and Plácido Domingo.
Cristina has also participated in the recordings of CDs such as "In Memoriam", by the contemporary organist and composer Bartolomé Veny and "50th anniversary" of the Capella Mallorquina. Among his future commitments, and delving into contemporary music, he will soon record a new CD "Sinfonía Signo op.49" by the composer Carl Mansker.
