Biography
Daniel Blanco is Infinite Opera’s co-artistic director, composer and conductor. He has composed the physics dissemination opera “Entanglement! An Entropic Tale” and the operatic beer trilogy, “Besse”. He is currently composing "The Flowering Desert", an opera about astrophysics in collaboration with the team that discovered the TRAPPIST-1 exo-planetary system. As part of Infinite Opera, Daniel collaborates with University of Birmingham's PHYART@UoB project. He has also worked for theatrical productions and artistic installations across Europe, collaborating with directors such as Aleksandar Dundjerovic, Stephen Simms or Lise Olson. He also collaborates as a composer, workshop leader and conductor with the Welsh National Opera’s engagement programme in the Midlands. Daniel also collaborates
