Biografi
Ruth Rosique stands out for the diversity and scope of her repertoire. An accomplished musician, clarinetist and pianist by training, she discovered singing at the age of 15 and never stopped exploring all the facets of her art. From Gregorian chant to contemporary creation, from the operas of Monteverdi to those of Britten or Henze, from unjustly neglected baroque composers to masterpieces by Mozart or bel canto, from German lied to Zarzuela, she tackles the whole repertoire with enthusiasm, rigor and sincerity that have conquered the public and made her an essential artist on the great Spanish and international stages.
