Diamanti Kritsotaki was born in Heraklion, Crete, Greece in a family of music teacher parents and subsequently she was introduced to the world of music at a very young age. She had already started piano lessons by the age of 8 and was a member of the local municipal children choir by the age of 10. She went on with classical singing lessons at the age of 19 and was awarded her Diploma in Classical Soloist Singing at the age of 23. She continued her studies in Leopold Mozart Zentrum at the University of Augsburg in Germany, where she was awarded the title: “Master of Music” with specialization in Classical Singing. She has attended lessons and master classes lead by reputable teachers such as Agnes Habereder - Kottler, Frieder Bernius, Karl-Peter Kammerlander, Graham Johnson, Robert White,
