Bio: Starting his operatic career at the International Opera Studio at Theater Basel (Switzerland), Erlend Tvinnereim sang numerous roles in their main productions as well as the studio productions.He has since launched an international career guesting operas around Europe including Staatsoper Hamburg, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Theater St.Gallen, Theater Basel, Bergen National Opera, Szeged National Theatre, Arctic Philharmonic Opera (NOSO), Ho Chi Minh City Opera etc. In the season 2015-2016 he was a "Young soloist in residence" at the Opera in Geneva. As a sought after concert singer he also regularly tours the European countries with emphasis of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland. U.K. and Scandianavia.Opera- and concert engagements include working with reknown conductors such as Cornelius Meister, Jesus López-Cobos, Friedemann Layer, Marc Soustrot, John Fiore, Helmuth Rilling, Robert Howarth, Roberto Rizzi-Brignoli, Gebriele Ferro, Andrea Marcon, Leonardo Alarcón, Jac van Steen, Stefan Blunier, Julian Wachner, Andrew Litton, Maurizio Barbacini and Gabriel Feltz and stage directors including Calixto Bieto, David McVicar Phillip Stölzl, Nicolas Joel, Katharina Thalbach, David Bösch, Benedict von Peter, David Poutney, Johannes Schmid and Róbert Àlföldi. Aditional to his opera repertoire, the artist has built up a large concert repertoire including Bach's Passion (evangelist and arias), several of the Händel oratories, the Creation by Haydn, Mozart's Requiem and great Mass in c minor as well as Beethovens 9th Symphony, to name but a few.
