Biografie: Born in Treviso, Italy, Fabio Sartori completed Diploma in Voice under the guidance of Maestro Leone Magiera at the Conservatory of Music Benedetto Marcello in Venice, Italy. In 1996, he made his debut in La bohème at Teatro La Fenice in Venice. He made his debut at Teatro alla Scala in Giuseppe Verdi's Macbeth for the theatre’s 1997/98 season inauguration under the baton of Maestro Riccardo Muti, followed by Verdi's Messa da Requiem by the same conductor. In the same season, he also sang for the season inaugurations at Teatro La Fenice and Teatro Comunale di Bologna. In 1998, he made two important Verdi's role debuts; Gabriele Adorno in Simon Boccanegra in Teatro Comunale di Bologna, and the title role of Don Carlo in Bologna and Teatro Regio di Parma. In 1999, he debuted in Simon Boccanegra in Berlin, conducted by Maestro Claudio Abbado. In the same year he debuted at the Vienna State Opera in Linda di Chamounix, and at the Chicago Lyric Opera in I Capuleti e i Montecchi. His recent various works at prestigious theatres have been acclaimed internationally, spanning from Simon Boccanegra (Berlin, Milan, Madrid, and Barcellona), Adriana Lecouvreur and La bohème (Florence), Verdi’s Messa di Requiem (Teatro alla Scala’s tour in Buenos Aires), a concert in Mumbai, India, with Maestro Zubin Mehta and Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Attila (Teatro alla Scala and in China), I Masnadieri (Zürich), Norma (Teatro di Las Palmas, and Terme di Caracalla of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma). During the Verdi’s 200th birth anniversary celebration in 2013, he had a huge success in Oberto, Conte di San Bonifacio at Teatro alla Scala, AIDA at Arena di Verona, and Don Carlo again in Milan and Zürich. The participation in Verdi's Messa da Requiem at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg (as a tour of Teatro Regio di Torino), directed by Maestro Gianandrea Noseda, and the new Tosca production directed by Maestro Daniel Barenboim at the StaatsOper in Berlin, were of great importance. Being casted frequently at Teatro alla Scala, he sang Simon Boccanegra (in Milan and also as a tour in Taipei, Seoul, and Moscow) and AIDA under the baton of Maestro Mehta. In 2018, he sang as Foresto in Attila conducted by Maestro Riccardo Chailly for Teatro alla Scala’s 2018/19 season inauguration that was broadcasted in many countries across Europe and Asia.
