Biography
Born in Bogota, Fernando Cuellar obtains a Diploma of Musical Pedagogy in singing at the Pedagogical University of Colombia. In 2003 he is part of the young artists troop of the Opera of Colombia, in 2007 he was selected to sing the Isola disabitata by Haydn and won the award of "Young Performers" in 2008. From 2006 to 2009 he evolved as a teacher in several Universities in Bogota, while continuing he’s career as a soloist and appears among the award-winners of the contest “Opera in the Park”. In 2010 Fernando Cuellar went to Europe where he continued his studies at the High Music School of Geneva and received his Master of Arts and Music Performance in 2012 under the tutelage of Jean Roth. Currently he studies at the Opera Studio of Art Bern High School in the class of Master spec
