Gianni Leccese

Gianni Leccese began the singing studies in Bari and later he improved it at the Accademia Internazionale di Osimo with the tenor William Matteuzzi and with the soprano Alla Simonishvili. His first debut is in the role of Peppe/Arlecchino in Pagliacci by Leoncavallo in Pisa, Grosseto, Massa Marittima, Pescara, Viterbo during the opera Seasons and in festivals as Lirica in Piazza, the Ripa Opera Leonis festival, Estate Pescarese, and others. Then he debuted in Traviata as Gastone and sang in concerts in Shanghai and Jakarta with the soprano Lorraine Nawa Jones and the tenor Angelo Marenzi. In Italy he sang in many musical ensembles and symphonic orchestras, the repertory includes Norma, Amico Fritz, Bohéme, La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Rigoletto and Il Cavalliere Errante by T. Trae
