He has worked with Vick Graham in the production of a number of operas, such as La traviata (Opera Birmingham), Die Walküre and Götterdämmerung (Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, Lisbon), Die Zauberflöte (Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow), Orfeo ed Euridice (Ravenna), Anna Bolena (Verona). His recent work includes lighting design for the operas Otello (Opera Birmingham) and Manon Lescaut (Teatro la Fenice, Venice).
