Ilaria Lanzino works as stage director, professor and librettist in several institutions, theatres and opera houses in Europa. Ilaria Lanzino was born in Pisa, Italy. After completing her studies in opera singing with excellent grades, she studied German Literature at the University of "Ca 'Foscari" in Venice and graduated with 1.0 cum laude. Moreover she got specialised in the field of “Physical Theatre” in different institutions in Europe (Jacques Lecoq Ecole Paris, NIPAI Berlin, London Mime Festival, Cockpit London). She gained her first theatre experiences as singer, stage director assistant and apprentice at Theater an der Wien, Deutschen Oper Berlin, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Theater Dortmund and Aalto Theater in Essen.
