Biography
Musical conductor at the Antwerp Opera, he comes from a family with a long theatrical tradition, his grandfather and his father were actors and his mother a flamenco dancer. Born in the USA where he studies piano, being a teenager he works as a coach for young opera singers. He studies Mathematics at Princeton University. He studies at Mannes and Juilliard schools and he works as a pianist and orchestra conductor at the “Festival di Due Mondi” in Charleston, South Carolina and Spoleto, Italy. In 1982 he moves to Germany, working at Darmstadt, Hamburg and Karlsruhe theatres, he arrives in Schwerin as Artistic and Musical Director at State Theatre and Mecklenburg Orchestra Conductor, the second oldest one in Germany.
